Hello Pals, When discussing Athens, a lot of people seem to not like it. They don’t like it when they arrive, they leave after a few days and don’t let this massive city grow on them. Big cities enhance your feelings; there is too much processing. You need to stop, go to a cafe, people watch and take it easy.
Athens is full of great food, great people and great coffee! You just need to keep your wits, trust your guts and do some research before hand.

Hiya Pals, While on a weekend getaway in Ararat, we spent a day in The Grampians. Originally called Gariwerd, it was renamed in 1836 after the Grampian Mountains in Scotland. It spans 1,672.19 km (645.6 sqm), making it the fourth largest National Park in Victoria. Known for rich Indigenous respects as well as the natural mountainous range itself.

Hi Pals, There was an article that came out in 2017 advising that the way us millennials (born: 1981-1996) aren’t able to buy houses, is a simple reason: Avocado On Toast. The article, “If you want a house, stop buying avocado toast” suggested that if we simply just stop eating out; we could have a deposit on a house (might also have to stop buying books and plane tickets.) I mean, they could be right but I also love going out for brunch and I pretty much always order the smashed avo.
With that, Here are 7 Melbourne CBD Cafes that offer good smashed avocado and even better coffee.
Hiya Pals, The rural city of Ararat is known as the gateway of the Grampians. It’s also a town that people simply pass by without a second thought. It was founded by the Chinese during the GoldRush times (1851 – c. 1914.) and sits upon the land of the traditional owners, the Djab Wurrung (soft language) people. Country Victoria has so many cities worth visiting, it just depends on what you’re after in a weekend away!

Whether you’re going on a short or long trip – we’re all bound by the same, dare I say “annoying” airline rule of 100mls per carry-on. Now if you’ve checked bags, it’s less of an issue because you’re more than likely to have your products in there. If you’re trying to save $$, have lost your bag too many times or just travel light – it can become a hassle. Over the years, I’ve managed to create a pretty good list of things I can substitute so with that, click ‘read more’ to see a list of ways you can minimise your 100ml liquids.
Hi Pals, Did you know that there are 480 hectares (1186.11 acres) of grassy green parks, each with public artworks, venues and unique features located in Melbourne? Sounds like some pretty common knowledge to me. Just whip that out next time you’re at trivia. Here are a few of my favourite Melbourne City parks to take a picnic to, listen to a podcast in or just go sit and read.

December was a bit of a long month for me and I guess that’s to be expected because it really has a lot in it. You’ve got the holiday period, things to organise, places to go and everyone’s scrambling to get gifts and plan everything out.
Now there are so many websites on which travel application is going to make your trip better, faster, stronger… and the starting lyric of that should have been easier. I have a 64GB iPhone 6s plus and as I’ve only had this phone for a year or so, I’m not being asked to delete things… yet.
Although I still love using pen & paper to write things down and plan – I also like having applications to book, save & share with others.
