October is one of my favourite months. This time around it was a bit exhausting but still had brilliant bits. I’ve been planning my next leg overseas (Malaysia) as well as my move overseas starting with a trip to Greece before Canada. It’s the first month of Spring in Australia, rooftop bars are opening and more doggos are showing up in parks. It also ends with Halloween (a post will be later about that) but right now, here’s what happened in October.
August was pretty fantastic. I spent my time doing the following;
– Mario kart tour of Tokyo, Japan.
– Seeing my friend who I last saw in Bolivia four years ago!
– Having brunch with my Uncle and Aunt.
– Spending the day exploring The NSW Art Gallery and having great coffee & cake with my favourite gal pal!
– Having a Twitter meet up & winning $10 on a scratchy.
Check out my favourite August photo moments below!
I recently got to go see“Puffs Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years At A Certain School Of Magic & Magic” which is written by Matt Cox. It was a play that outshone my expectations, I Neville would have thought I’d see something Harry Potter related until the Cursed Child comes out later in Melbourne in 2019 (sorry not sorry Sydney.)
If you’re lucky enough to be in New York City or Melbourne (both the apparent best cities in the world if they’ve got Puffs) and you wanna see Harry Potter from a Hufflepuff’s view? Check. Out. PUFFS!
If you’re a [former] glasses wearer like me, you’ve probably thought about Lasik Eye Surgery. Lasik (Laser Assisted In-Situ Keratomileusis but lets keep it short) is essentially a correction of your eye. It reshapes the inner cornea so that you can focus more clearly with vision. It’s been around for ages and has thousands of studies. Feel free to go check them all out, or if you’re like me just google “lasik gone wrong” – actually please don’t do that.
If you’ve been thinking about going and booking in to get your eyes done, Heres what you need to know about Lasik.
