7 Solid Replacements to take in your Carry On.

Hi Pals,

Whether you’re going on a short or long trip – we’re all bound by the same, dare I say “annoying” airline rule of 100mls per carry-on.
Now if you’ve checked bags, it’s less of an issue because you’re more than likely to have your products in there. If you’re trying to save $$, have lost your bag too many times or just travel light – it can become a hassle.
Over the years, I’ve managed to create a pretty good list of things I can substitute so with that, click ‘read more’ to see a list of ways you can minimise your 100ml liquids.

2018 Reading Challenge

Hi Pals,
Every year I try and read 20 books. This year, technically I cheated but that’s if you count the start and the end date (you do.) I didn’t count the finishing date for my last book. We can’t all be perfect in the GoodReads Reading Challenge!

Want to know more about all the books I read this year? Click ‘read more.’ All links simply go to Goodreads.com (non-affiliate.)

The Best Travel Apps.

Hi Pals,

Now there are so many websites on which travel application is going to make your trip better, faster, stronger… and the starting lyric of that should have been easier.  I have a 64GB iPhone 6s plus and as I’ve only had this phone for a year or so, I’m not being asked to delete things… yet.

Although I still love using pen & paper to write things down and plan – I also like having applications to book, save & share with others.

Picking Podcasts [2]

Hi Pals,

I listen to around 30 hours of podcast material a week as I’m lucky enough to have a Job where I’m allowed to wear headphones. Depending on what I’m working on, I’ll swap it between music and podcasts.
To check out my previously recommended podcasts, check here.

So, while you’re waiting for a mate, sitting in the doctor’s office for an extra 30 minutes or you’re on a long trip – here’s another list to get you through it.

Not all of them I liked, which I’ll elaborate on – and some I loved. Be aware, Sub Category is just the term I’ve put in to shorten “what I believe it’s all about ” not what it might be.

Podcasts can be listened to on Apple Podcasts, Google Play and Spotify. All links (no affiliates) take you to their main website.

Picking Podcasts

Hi Pals,

I’ve recently started getting into Podcasts more and more. I do like Audiobooks – in fact, that’s why I have a monthly subscription to SCRIBD (think Netflix but for books. That link is an affiliate and will get you two months reading free!)

I feel I can commit to 4-5 hours of a podcast, but not an Audiobook. I guess it’s the ability to focus in and out. Like how I can binge 6 hours of Brooklyn 99 on Netflix, but not commit to a 1-2-hour movie.

Here’s a list of podcasts that I recommend getting you through that next 45-minute doctors wait, while you’re waiting for a friend or the next trip you’re taking – whether it be a night bus or long layover at the airport.

Not all of them I liked, which I’ll elaborate on – and some I loved. Be aware, Sub Category is just the term I’ve put in to shorten “what I believe it’s all about a subcategory” not what it might be.
